The complete renovation of this townhouse villa just a few minutes outside the walled city of Lucca has recently been finished (fall of 2007).  The photo above left shows the entry to the townhouse (the pink section as well as the brick section shown in the photo above right.  Also shown above right is the small independent pool house/outdoor dining area.  The large pool, 14x7 meters, is now under construction just to the right of the pool house.  The restoration has created four separate apartments which are only rented together as one unit and between them can accommodate up to 15 people.    

The charming entry to the first unit, shown above left, opens to a large living/dining area.  The kitchen, pictured above right, is off the dining room and is fully equipped with range, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and a full complement of dining and serving utensils.

The spacious and light-filled living room has a fireplace and a very unusual set of wooden stairs leading up to the bedrooms on the floor above. The dining area leads to the kitchen and also has a door leading outside.   Also on this ground floor is a full bath and laundry room with washing machine.

There are two comfortable double bedrooms on the second floor, each with great views over the Lucca valley.  The bedrooms share a bath, pictured below right, which has double sinks, toilette and bidet and a large shower.  All of the bathrooms in this complex are new and feature beautiful marble and tile work, new fixtures and good lighting.
