| The first floor living room is large, open and comfortably furnished. It's very inviting with a large fireplace and room for many to gather in good company. The cozy private den, shown in the background just off the living room, is a very tranquil little space for writing. reading or checking email. There is a dial-up connection for guests who bring their own laptops. Pictured above to the right is a second floor art/sitting room with a wonderful view of the Lucca countryside. | |||

The dining room, which can easily accommodate 16 guests, is an extension of the living room and is raised by two steps. It's light-filled and stocked with all the items necessary to entertain very comfortably. The kitchen, connected to the dining room by a pass-through, is fully equipped and has a double door which leads directly to a charming outside dining area. Adjacent to the kitchen there is a laundry room. The first floor also contains one double bedroom and one twin bedded room, each with its own bath. |

Each bedroom has its own bath and every one of them is very comfortably furnished with good mattresses, lights and lovely bed coverings, many of them custom made. Since this is a private home, there are many antiques, unusual carpets and beautiful works of art throughout. | |||
