Within the walls of Lucca, this first floor luxury apartment has just been completely restored. Located in a medieval part of the city with limited traffic access, the Palazzo itself is considered an Italian monument, having been built in 1440 by a family of important silk merchants. Great attention was paid in the restoration of the apartment, from the antique cotto and beam ceilings to the intricately patterned cotto floors and the beautifully preserved sections of original stone walls.
Living Room	Dining Room
The very large and open living room/dining room area is light-filled and beautifully decorated. The furnishings are, above all, comfortable, but they are also very elegant while retaining traditional Tuscan style. Warm, rich woods blend with comfortable upholstered pieces to create a very welcoming atmosphere. The dining room seats 8 comfortably and is equipped with table settings and serving pieces with which to entertain. The living room contains a state of the art entertainment center, including a flat screen TV and a beautiful antique fireplace that is one of the focal points of the room.
Kitchen	The kitchen is a cook's delight. There is a six-burner commercial stove with double ovens, dishwasher, microwave and many small appliances. The counters are solid stone and the sink is custom made from one piece of marble. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer, and ample storage space for baggage or supplies.

The Guest Bedroom is spacious, light and very comfortably furnished with a double bed and very large antique armoire. The Guest Bath has been crafted of a very unique brown and white marble and features a large tub.

The Master Suite is private, spacious and features two large double windows. One of the them, in the photo at right, has a very special view.....it looks out onto the famous walls of Lucca. The bedroom itself is very cozy and serene with luxurious furnishings and good lighting.
Master Bath	The Master Bath, pictured to the left, is black and white marble and features a large walk-in shower with glass door, just visible at the right of the photo. All of the marble in this apartment was personally chosen by the owner and crafted at a small workshop in nearby Carrara.
	After entering a private courtyard and garden area, the apartment is reached by the original elegant stairway or by a newly installed elevator. There is an underground parking garage for residents of the building. Luxurious features of the apartment include air-conditioning, an internet wireless DSL connection, 42" flat screen TV with satellite connection, DVD player, laundry room with washer and dryer.
