Within the amazing walls of Lucca and within sight of the Tower of Guinigi, this beautiful apartment is on the top floor of a building in the historic district. 



 
With windows on every side of the open living room/dining room area, you are really living above tree-top level and bathed in light with a panoramic view of the city and the surrounding hills.  The dining room seats 6 and opens onto a private terrace.

The photo above left shows the compact but fully equipped kitchen.  The photo on the right shows the access to the kitchen from the dining room's double doors and also the glass doors that lead out to the private terrace.  There is also a separate laundry and storage room nearby.   


There are three double bedrooms, each comfortably and stylishly furnished and all, of course, with rooftop views of the city.  There are also two updated bathrooms, one at each end of the apartment..

This apartment is a wonderful way to experience the city of Lucca and the surrounding areas.   Lucca is still a relatively uncrowded city with many one-of-a-kind shops, good restaurants and beautiful architectural vignettes at every turn. Its spectacular walls, where everyone must have a walk at sunset, are a treasure to behold.  Frequent train service to Florence and the shore (each less than 1 hour away) makes Lucca a very desirable base for exploring this area of Tuscany.
