Forte dei Marmi has long been regarded as the ultimate address for Italian chic.......a place to experience summer in the grand style. This apartment is one of three in a period palazzo of the 1920s. The building has been completely restored in 2009 with great care and attention to quality and luxurious detail. Just 200 meters from the shore, all of this little jewel of a city is right outside the apartment's door.......the finest restaurants, world-class shopping, fine night-life, and an unlimited supply of people-watching (one of Italy's favorite pastimes).
Dining Room and Balcony	Kitchen
This apartment is the largest of the three at 130 square meters. The entry opens into the main living area which features comfortable seating for 8. The dining room, pictured above to the left, has a charming balcony which overlooks a wonderful piazza. The new kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances including oven, stovetop, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine as well as a full complement of cooking and serving utensils.
Bedroom	Bedroom
The apartment's two double bedrooms are large and comfortably furnished as shown in the photos above. The bedroom to the right has a balcony overlooking the piazza.
Sitting/Bedroom	Bathroom
The third bedroom is furnished with a double sofa-bed and can be used as a sitting room or study if an additional bedroom is not required. The apartment has two bathrooms, both newly renovated and featuring beautiful marble and tile work as shown.

Forte dei Marmi is a relatively uncrowded city and it is unique because the lifestyle there remains unchanged from its heyday of the 1960s. Summer life is slow and centers around days at the beach, wonderful evening dinners, and a buzzing late-night cafe society scene. It is customary to belong to a beach club where your own chairs and lounges await you every day and where you can enjoy lunch and refreshments throughout the day. Arrangements can be made for guest membership privileges at local beach clubs.
	Most people get around by bicycle.....it's a pleasure to leave the car behind for a while. But for those who would like to do a little exploring there is frequent train and bus service to Lucca, Florence and Pisa as well as a local autostrada exit. Visits to Cinque Terre and the marble quarries at Carrara are also possible since both are easily accessible.

It is also possible to book the other two apartments in this palazzo, which would create a rental for 14 guests, in order to accommodate a larger group.
