The bedrooms in this Villa are warm, inviting and beautifully furnished with period antiques. There are four bedrooms on the second floor. Three are doubles and one is a single that can be converted to a double with the addition of another bed, if required.
There are two full bathrooms in the villa. The bathroom pictured on the left is on the second floor with all of the bedrooms. It has a large tub, separate shower, beautiful new fixtures and beautiful tile work and decorative painting details. The second bathroom, also a full bath, is located on the third floor, right at the top of the stairs. The third floor has two other rooms, both used for storage (a good place to stow the luggage!).
Outdoor Areas
The outdoor areas of this Villa are private and well maintained. A large swimming pool is located within the garden area and offers beautiful views of the countryside surrounding Lucca. A large barn has been converted into a garage for cars and bicycles. There are four new bicycles kindly left there by the owners for tenants' use. Off the kitchen there is a charming pergola with a table and chairs as well as an outdoor wood oven with barbeque.
Ancient aqueduct
This Villa is very conveniently located
-- about 60 minutes to Florence and 20 minutes to Pisa or the beaches along
the coast. An extraordinary architectural treasure, a 19th century
aqueduct, is just a few hundred meters from the Villa. One can
actually walk or bike into Lucca in 15 minutes by following the path under
this historic structure. Just a short walk from the villa is a small
grocery store and a bar where one can find coffee, snacks and drinks.
Included in the price is maid service twice a week.
