	Stunning. In a word, that's the description of Borgo Bernardini. Once the retreat of a nobleman, the villa has been meticulously restored by the present owners who realize the treasure that they own and have settled for only the best in every area of the long and painstaking job of restoration.

	The estate has twelve private bedroom suites, each with its own modern ensuite bath and shower room. All suites are decorated with beautiful color schemes and comfortable furnishings. They are all equipped with telephone, individual temperature controls and a connection to the central music system. All rooms have beautiful views of gardens, olive groves or the picturesque hills surrounding Lucca.
	The reception areas of the estate are gracious and able to accommodate a full complement of guests. The formal dining room is shown at left, with the table set for a special holiday dinner. The sunroom, pictured above, is a wonderful setting for quiet relaxation. The villa also offers a notable wine cellar with thousands of bottles of fine wines, a card and billiards room, a music room with grand piano, a drawing room/TV lounge, a magnificent, fully equipped Tuscan kitchen, an exercise/workout room, and wireless internet access throughout. The villa is gated with a private security system.

The outside areas of the estate are spectacular. The peaceful garden, shown above to the left, is often set with table and chairs for a quiet luncheon under the gazebo. The large and welcoming pool, shown above, is nestled into a tranquil corner of the estate with just the right blend of sun and shade. There is also a lovely private square courtyard between the buildings of the estate which is frequently used for al fresco dining and most guests also enjoy a few evening banquets beside the extraordinary peschiera, or fountained fish pond, pictured at the very beginning of the web page.
	Weekly rental rate includes: Cleaning service twice a week (Saturday and Wednesday), property/estate manager who will meet guests on arrival and will be available for help and assistance; electricity; heating; air-conditioning and grounds maintenance. Many additional services are available upon request and are payable directly to the providers. Included in this array of services are chef services, additional/daily maid services, cooking lessons, wine tastings, drivers, tours, concierge services. A full list of recommended service providers will be supplied upon booking confirmation. Weekly prices for the 2012 season: June, July, August, Sept 30,000 Euro April, May, October 24,000 Euro Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar 22,500 Euro Note: Christmas, New Year's and Easter weeks are considered High Season.
